INTERPHEX Live Presentation
cGMP Clean Space: Innovative Solutions for Compliant and Cost-Effective Facilities

In March, our Principal Charlie Johnsrud participated in a panel discussion as part of an INTERPHEX Live event. The panel was assembled and the program coordinated by our associates at DME for Life. Fellow panelists included Ed Caulkins, Director of Facility Design at DME, Blake Hodess, President of Hodess Cleanroom Construction, and Tim Loughran, Consultant from Cleanroom Construction Associates.

Panel Description:

"Smart manufacturers are taking a second look at the legacy assumptions and rules of thumb that characterized cleanroom design in the past. Rising costs and space demands are driving creative solutions for more efficient and lower cost cGMP manufacturing. This requires 'outside the box' engineering that considers the regulatory requirements, facility program, manufacturing process, CAPEX/OPEX costs, and the latest clean environment construction methods in the context of quality risk management. Join our panel as we discuss the increasing demands on our industry, and learn innovative strategies for the design and delivery of classified space."

What works for one person, most likely will not work for another in regards to a person, a department, or an entire company, so how does one create the ‘ideal’ office environment? Continue reading...
