George H. Swallow, AIA, Joins Johnsrud Architects
Johnsrud Architects is pleased to announce that George H. Swallow, AIA, has joined our firm as Senior Associate and Director of Design.
George's responsibilities in this role include directing design from concept to documentation, supervising and mentoring staff members, and developing firm-wide design principles and techniques, enhancing our quality services.
George has 35 years of experience in design and construction of research and laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and higher education facilities. Equally versed in design and technology, George combines his skills in site planning, building master planning, and conceptual design with his knowledge of construction techniques to achieve cost-effective, operationally efficient, and aesthetically pleasing environments.

George has developed special expertise in the collaborative team process which focuses design efforts on achieving creative solutions with the entire design team, clients, and end users. His work on research facilities, corporate cafeterias, and college libraries has won several awards from the AIA. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he has previously worked at Anderson DeBartolo Pan Inc., CUH2A, Hillier, PS&S, and Genesis Architects.
